I’ve been a Christian for 14 years.
I should be crushing it in the “love your neighbor as yourself” department.
But I’m not.
It’s important. I gotta get this love thing figured out. I’ve got to nail down the most important aspects of how to love like Jesus. So I can pass it on.
This is how to love your spouse. This is how to be a loving friend. This is how to love family, enemies, strangers.
To non-Christians. To new Christians. To everyone who might observe me loving someone.
Because “love one another” can feel sort of loosey-goosey.
I need me some tangible How to’s if I’m supposed to be instructing others.
Call on the phone how often? Have how many coffee dates with that friend? Say how many nice things to your spouse? Go to how many soccer games? Coach how many of your son’s teams? Dry how many tears? Give how many kisses and hugs?
